The public is invited to a free evening of astronomy displays, literature, and (weather permitting) stargazing at Earth Hour 2015, hosted by the Town of Whitby. The Durham Region Astronomical Association will be on hand to talk about anything astronomical, and discuss effective lighting practices to help fight the damaging effects of light pollution. There will be astronomy books to look through, many astronomical displays, and an opportunity to make your own planisphere for learning the seasons' constellations!
