Michael will describe the Lowell Amateur Research Initiative (LARI), and his experience submitting observations through LARI in support of Dr. Kevin Covey's (Lowell Observatory) research on Young Stellar Objects.
Astronomy Equipment Presented by Gary Wilkins
Gary will show new astronomy equipment that you may want to mention in your letter to Santa.
What's Up in the Night Sky Presented by Jeff Dutton, Director of the Members' Observing Committee
Jeff offers a tour on objects suitable for observing in November.

Come and enjoy stunning views of the Moon, galaxies and star clusters through the telescopes of The Durham Region Astronomical Association. If you have a telescope and would like some help setting it up and aiming it at the stars, please bring it along and we'd be happy to help you.

After the Santa Claus Parade there will be a Tree Lighting ceremony in the Ajax Heritage Square. Come and join us afterwords for some viewing of the night sky (weather permitting)
