Location: Durham District School Board Headquarters, 400 Taunton Road East, Whitby
Weather permitting, come enjoy stargazing with The Durham Region Astronomical Association on the grounds behind the Durham District School Board. The stargazing will follow a lecture by Dr. Rupinder Brar, Senior Lecturer of Physics and Astronomy in the Faculty of Science at UOIT, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. This promises to be a fascinating evening of astronomy, in both lecture and observing!
The Durham District School Board is located at 400 Taunton Road East, Whitby. Telescopes are to be set up in the field north of the northern-most parking lot as indicated in this map:
