Location: Information Centre Ontario Power Generation Pickering
Ontario Power Generatio (OPG), the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) and The Durham Region Astronomical Association (DRAA) are partnering to have a March Break Star Gazing theme event with the ROM bringing their Starlab and the DRAA having displays of all things Astronomical as well as DVDs showing continually. If the weather and the Sun cooperates, there may be Safe Solar telescope viewing of Sunspots and Flares.

Location: Heydenshore Pavilion 589 Water St. Whitby
Come and celebrate Earth Hour 2011. We will have continually showing of Astronomical DVDs and indoor displays of all things Astronomical as well as the effects of light pollution. Outside we will have a telescope with a camera attached to show on a 22 inch LCD monitor for those unable to view through an eyepiece. Other telescopes on the South lawn will be viewing Saturn and other Deep Sky objects such as Globular Clusters, etc. (Weather permitting)
