The third part of the series will be a look through various telescopes at the first quarter Moon, Saturn and other interesting Astronomical Objects. This will allow participants to view objects discussed in the first two parts of the series. This is the last day to submit to the Board Secretary, Dan McRae, nominations for the positions of Publications (newsletter editor), Light Pollution Awareness, Member Observing, Public Relations, and Director-At-Large.
Nominations for any position are to be made by two members, accepted by the nominee, and submitted to the Secretary by this date. You can make nominations for more than one of each of the Board positions up for election this year, but nominate only one member for each position. Competing nominations are possible from different nominators.
The Secretary will either conduct a vote (if more than one nomination is made for each position) or report on any acclamations in the event of only one nomination for any given position.
(Note: nominations and elections for all Board positions will occur in 2009)
