LPAC Mandate
To build public awareness in, and support for light pollution abatement, with the objective of enacting public policy to reduce the detrimental effects of light pollution on the environment.
We are NOT against outdoor lighting.
We are for quality outdoor lighting and We are for the protection of the night sky as a heritage resource for its natural value and scientific interest.
